Your agent holds several conversations at the same time, so two people ringing at once are both answered. How many depends on your plan, and the figure lives on Limits rather than here. One phone number carries all of them, so extra numbers do not add capacity.

What decides your limit

Your plan, and nothing else. It is set per workspace rather than per number or per agent, so a workspace with three agents shares one pool of simultaneous calls. That means two things worth knowing. Buying more numbers does not raise it, and splitting work across more agents does not either. See Limits for your figure.

What a caller hears at the limit

A caller who arrives when you are at your limit does not reach your agent. Capacity frees up as each call ends, so this clears itself within a minute or two in normal use. It matters when your calls arrive in bursts rather than spread out: a radio advert, a promotion, or an outage notification produces a minute where far more people ring than usual.

Preparing for a busy period

  • Work out your peak, not your average. Forty calls spread over an hour is nothing. Forty calls in two minutes is a different problem.
  • Do not run a campaign into your own busy window. Outbound and inbound share the same pool of simultaneous calls, so a campaign competes with people ringing you. See Choose when calls go out.
  • Talk to us before a known spike. A launch, a mailshot, or a seasonal peak is worth a conversation rather than a discovery. Email support@brilo.ai with the volume and the timing.

FAQ

Yes, several at once, so two people ringing together are both answered. The exact number comes from your plan. See Limits.
No. One number carries every simultaneous call your plan allows. Buy extra numbers for separate departments or campaigns, never for capacity.
Per workspace. Your agents share one pool, so adding a second agent does not give you more simultaneous calls.
They do not reach your agent. Capacity frees up as calls end, so it usually clears within a minute, which is why bursts matter more than volume.
Yes. Inbound and outbound share the same pool, so a campaign running during your busy hours competes with people trying to ring you. Schedule campaigns outside your peak.
It is worth asking rather than assuming. Email support with the volume you expect and when it will arrive, since a burst in one minute is a different request from a busy day.
