Brilo has five plans: Free, Starter, Pro, Growth, and Custom. They differ in how many call minutes you get, how many agents you can run, and which features are switched on. You can change plan whenever you like, and every plan includes call recordings, your inbox, and contact import.

What each plan includes

This table lists every plan and what comes with it. Prices are in US dollars, billed monthly unless you choose yearly.

What is not in any plan

  • Phone numbers beyond your first one. Every paid plan includes one number. Extra numbers are charged monthly on top of your plan. See Buy a phone number.
  • Call minutes beyond your included allowance. These are charged per minute at the rate in the table above.
  • Emails on Free and Starter. Your agent cannot send email at all on those two plans.
  • Outbound calling on Free. The Free plan answers calls but cannot make them, so campaigns need Starter or above.

What happens when you run out

Your agent stops taking calls when your included minutes run out, unless you switch on extra usage. This is the most important thing to know about your plan, because a quiet failure at the end of a busy month means missed calls. Extra usage is off by default. With it switched on, calls carry on and the extra minutes are charged at your plan’s per minute rate. With it off, calls are refused once your allowance is gone. The same applies to your agent’s emails. Two things stop regardless: the number of agents on Free and Starter, and the number of calls your agent can take at the same time. For those, see Limits.

FAQ

Yes. The Free plan includes 10 call minutes and one agent, so you can build an agent and hear it answer before you pay anything. It cannot make outbound calls and it does not include a phone number, so you either use a number you already own or move to Starter.
Pro or above. Free and Starter cannot send email at all. Pro includes 800 agent emails a month, Growth includes 2,000, and extra emails are a cent each. Sending from your own domain also starts at Pro. See Bring your own domain.
Starter or above. Outbound calling is switched off on Free, so calling campaigns and follow-up calls need a paid plan. Everything else about campaigns, including contact import, works on any paid plan.
One on Free, three on Starter, and unlimited on Pro, Growth, and Custom. Agents you are no longer using still count towards the limit on Free and Starter, so delete an old agent before building a new one if you are at the cap.
HIPAA support is available on Custom plans only. It is switched off on Free, Starter, Pro, and Growth, so a clinic that needs it should talk to us rather than self serve. Ask us for the current paperwork before putting patient information through any plan.
Yes, and it is cheaper. Starter is 44amonthbilledyearlyratherthan44 a month billed yearly rather than 49, Pro is 134ratherthan134 rather than 149, and Growth is 449ratherthan449 rather than 499. Your included minutes and features are the same either way.
Your agent stops taking calls, unless extra usage is switched on for your workspace. Extra usage is off by default, and with it on the extra minutes are charged at your plan’s rate. If you go over most months, the next plan up is usually cheaper. See Limits.
Yes, at any time. Moving up takes effect straight away, so your new minutes and features are available immediately. For what happens to your agents and numbers when you move down or stop, see Cancel or change your plan.
