Owner and members
The owner is whoever created the workspace, and there is only ever one. A workspace cannot have two owners.
What this means in practice
Treat an invitation as full access. Anybody you invite can edit a live agent, delete uploaded material, and listen to every recorded call. That is fine for a small team who all work on this, and it is worth knowing before you invite somebody who only needed to read a report. Protect against accidents rather than against people. Since you cannot restrict what a member changes, save a version of an agent before a period of heavy editing so you can roll back. See Versions. Think about who creates the workspace. Only the owner can manage the subscription, so a workspace created on a departing employee’s account becomes awkward. If that has happened, contact support@brilo.ai.What you cannot restrict today
- A read only or reports only member.
- Hiding call recordings or transcripts from specific people.
- Restricting who can edit a particular agent.
- Restricting who can buy phone numbers or start campaigns.
FAQ
What roles does Brilo have?
What roles does Brilo have?
There are no roles to choose from. A workspace has one owner and everyone else is a member with the same
access. The owner alone controls billing and who is in the workspace.
Can I give someone read only access?
Can I give someone read only access?
Not today. Everyone you invite can edit agents and listen to calls. Invite on that basis, and tell
support@brilo.ai if restricted access is something you need.
Who can change billing?
Who can change billing?
Only the workspace owner. Everyone else sees a message saying the subscription is managed by the owner,
so if you cannot reach the billing screen, you are not the owner. See
How billing works.
Can I stop a colleague deleting an agent?
Can I stop a colleague deleting an agent?
Not with permissions. Save a version before significant changes so anything can be rolled back, and keep
your working agents in a workspace only the people who need them are invited to.
Can I change who the owner is?
Can I change who the owner is?
Not from the dashboard. Contact support@brilo.ai, which is worth doing
promptly if the owner has left the company, since only they can manage the subscription.
Why can my colleague not see a page I can see?
Why can my colleague not see a page I can see?
The only pages that differ are billing and members, both of which are owner only. Everything else looks
the same for everyone, so a difference anywhere else is a sign they are signed in to a different
workspace.
Can I have separate workspaces for separate teams?
Can I have separate workspaces for separate teams?
Yes, and with no roles available that is the practical way to separate access: a workspace per team or
per site, each with its own members. Note that each workspace has its own plan. See
Workspace settings.
